Fedor's MMA/Sambo Instructional Video (DVD)
I did promise to put up the Fedor Instructional Video as soon I could find it, so here it is:

The DVD is just footage of one of his seminars, so the moves are not as well broken down and repeated as one might hope it to be, but as to be expected from the fighter many consider to be the best fighter of all time, Fedor still does a great job of explaining the techniques.
Rather than a laundry list of submission techniques done step by step, Fedor takes each move and shows everyone the subtle actions he takes to make sure that they work, which makes the video worth watching, despite the fact that everyone has probably already seen and done the same moves a million times over already.

any chance to have fedor's book "undisputed king of mma"? A bit disapointed by the vid, especially on the takedown part, which is in my opinion one of fedor's strength.

i actually got the Fedor's MMA book yesterday and it's pretty packed with knowledge. techiniques might not be fancy and actually it's fairly basic, but i could see all those moves actually work in real MMA bout. (the fact that it's a book you cant expect TOO MUCH)
1. striking
2. counter striking
3. The Clinch (very nice judo/sambo throws untilizing upper body clinch)
4. Ground on bottom/top (defense/offense)

Thanks for posting this. Good to see what a Fedor seminar would be like ! The techniques aren't broken down as well as in an instructional series, but it's still worthwhile watching.
I'd also like to check out Fedor's book. Is it worthwhile purchasing? I think a back to basics approach is what is needed. A lot of books / DVDs are filled with a lot of fancy techniques you never see in MMA or BJJ tournament. But don't organize the techniques that well, or give any insights into strategy.
I've got Fedor's book and thinks its really solid. If you have any of the other victory belt publications ( Judo for MMA, BJ Penn's MMA book of knowledge, etc) you know the quality and production style.
As for organization, I thinks it's done pretty well in this book.
I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

Great DVD (as is the instructional book). I highly recommend that everyone pick up a copy if you are a Sambo/MMA/Grappler
